Daniel P. Muthard

Mr. Muthard has over 45 years of experience in the mass appraisal field. This includes the appraisal of all types of real property and management of many countywide revaluation projects in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Dan has appeared as an expert witness at the Ohio Board or Tax Appeals and numerous Boards of Review in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Work History

Dan has worked in the development and implementation of numerous CAMA systems during revaluation programs in several States. Significant appraisal assignments include the management of appraisal projects in Hamilton County (Cincinnati), Ohio, for 325,000 parcels; Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, for 90,000 parcels; and Marion County (Indianapolis), Indiana, for 325,000 parcels. He has provided management oversight and guidance for the appraisal of over 4.5 million parcels in the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania from 1991 to the present.

Significant accomplishments include the integration of multi-faceted technology into the mass appraisal process. Dan has worked to integrate geographic information systems, aerial photography, street level photography, oblique photography, and CAMA system information into a single process to enhance the appraisal process.
